Check-in begins at 4 pm.
On the corner of South Broadway and Parkway Drive, we are minutes away from the University of Kentucky, downtown, and four major hospitals.
You can easily access our hotel and restaurant via our entrance on Parkway Drive off of South Broadway. If you are driving south on Broadway (away from downtown), you will turn right onto Parkway before our large monument Elwood and Fiddletree sign. If you are driving north on Broadway (towards downtown), you will turn left onto Parkway. Parkway Drive has a grass median in the middle, and you will turn left at the median break into the hotel parking lot. You can also access the hotel via the Campbell House’s entrance.
Parking is free at the hotel and can be accessed through our Parkway Drive entrance. Accessible and van parking is also available.
We welcome guests of all ages, but you must be at least 21 years of age to make a reservation.
Yes. We want your little ones to be comfortable too. Please call guest services to request a crib.
Check-out is at 11 am.
We try to accommodate late check-out requests when we can – late check-out availability is dependent on the number of guest check-ins we have scheduled for that day. To request a late check-out, please call the evening before you leave, or in the morning on the date you are scheduled to depart. We’ll do our best to accommodate your request.
We require a credit card for all arriving reservations. Please note that we will place a hold on the credit card upon check-in for the total amount of room, and tax.

Please note our pet fee/policy also includes:
- A one-time charge of $75
- 2 pets max
- Max weight of 50 lb per pet
- Additional fees may apply for deep cleaning or damages that occur
Unfortunately, we do not offer roll-away beds. However, if you are traveling with 3-4 people, we encourage you to try one of our double suites.
All of our guest rooms have mini-refrigerators. If you are a long term guest you can request an electric countertop hot burner for in-room cooking and we also have upgraded room types that have microwaves included.

Yes, a selection of the Elwood Premier Double Queen and Elwood Premier King room types connect. Please call or email the hotel directly to request connecting rooms at (859) 423-1001 or hello@theelwoodhotel.com.
Elwood is a non-smoking hotel. Smoking is not allowed in any public area, food and beverage outlet, or guest rooms. We will charge a cleaning fee of $250 if you smoke in the guest rooms.
Our flexible policy allows you to change or cancel your reservation up to 48 hours before your arrival.
Yes. WiFi is free throughout the hotel, including the guest rooms.
